Welcome Traders!

Improving our skills is a requirement, just like the markets, traders cannot afford to stop moving.

It does get tricky when there is so much content out there, and not all of it is worth assimilating. Besides, we don’t have unlimited time either.

I thought I’d compile a few books for you to consider, and hope that they may help in any way.

Here are ten popular books on trading forex and a summary of each:

  1. Currency Trading for Dummies“ by Kathleen Brooks and Brian Dolan – Provides a comprehensive introduction to forex trading for beginners, covering the basics of forex market structure, currency pairs, trading strategies, and risk management.

Not included in this list, but one of my absolute favourites is this Naked Forex by Walter Peters.

„Naked Forex“ is a book about forex trading that focuses on the use of simple, price-based trading strategies without the use of indicators or complex chart patterns. The authors, Alex Nekritin and Walter Peters, present a step-by-step approach to analyzing forex markets, identifying high-probability trade setups, and managing risk. The book emphasizes the importance of understanding market structure, including support and resistance levels, trend lines, and price action patterns. The authors also provide practical guidance on trade entry and exit, stop loss placement, and trade management. „Naked Forex“ is written in a clear and concise style, with numerous examples and charts to illustrate the concepts and strategies presented. Overall, the book offers a refreshing and straightforward approach to forex trading that can be helpful for both novice and experienced traders.
